Solergibert

Since it first settled in Artés in 1730, the Solergibert family, now in the tenth generation, has devoted itself to growing vines.

The town of Artés, surrounded by vineyards, was successful up until the 1960s when industry arrived and a large number of the locals swapped agricultural work for a steady wage every month. But the Solergibert family remained true to its roots and even expanded its vineyards. The years passed and, in the 1980s-90s, a small wine revolution came to the Pla de Bages, encouraged by the appellation or DO.

In the last 30 years we've replanted all the vines and renovated the winery to improve the quality of our wine. The best wine from each harvest is left to age in the cellars, where the silence, temperature and humidity link the wine with the wood, a process which is completed with ageing in the bottle.
