The hotel restaurant Mas de la Sala, formerly Hostal del Camp, originates from the family estate dating back to before the 12th century in Sallent, in the heart of Catalonia and just a few kilometres from Manresa and Barcelona. The restaurant hotel is located within the UNESCO Global Geopark of Central Catalonia, in a very quiet setting that offers 4-star hotel services and a restaurant specialising in local traditional cuisine. At the entrance there are vines from each of the grape varieties accepted under the Pla de Bages DO, each one sponsored by each of the DO's wineries. There is also a vineyard hut and ice well as testament to the dry stone tradition of the region.
